COOPER BOONE
UNPLUGGED
LIVIN’ LARGE
IN NEW YORK CITY!
Concert To Be Held At The
Cutting Room on April 10th 2008
What: Country music in NYC?
Cooper Boone is living testimony that country music is a place in the heart, not
a place on the map. Coop will be
performing a fresh acoustic set of sizzlin’ new material at The Cutting Room,
Thursday, April 10th , at 9:30 PM. The performance will feature Gary
Oleyar (Loggins and Messina) on fiddle, Will Knox (Will Knox Band) and Benji
Harris (Rigby Rock) on acoustic guitars with killer three-part harmonies.
Who: At a very young age Cooper
had a calling but it wasn’t music. He
wanted to help people through their darkest hours and found that purpose as a
therapist. Cooper has worked from the
South Bronx to the Upper East Side. He
has helped New York families deal with addiction, trauma, obesity and
illnesses. From his work with patients
in prisons, city projects, hospitals and 911 survivors...Cooper has seen it
all, and those stories live in his music.
Coop’s
myspace page (www.myspace.com/cooperboonemusic)
now appears in the top 100 of Indie Country Artists worldwide. He has played
to sold-out crowds at The Cutting Room and Crash Mansion in New York City and
has also appeared at the National 4th of July Celebration in
Washington, DC, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts with Trace Adkins and
Nashville’s world famous Wildhorse Saloon at the CMA Music Festival.
This
is a big year for Coop. He kicked off
his Small Change Big Planet Tour in Boston, a tour that promotes taking care of
the environment through music. This
summer he is touring nationwide with his Small Change Big Planet tour along
with several NASCAR events. He will
also be opening for country superstar Craig Morgan in May 2008.
His
new acoustic set, two acoustic guitars, three vocals along with fiddle and
banjo, is a combination of rockin’ country tunes and sultry heartfelt ballads
such as: “Celia’s Hands”, with chilling harmonies, “Love at a Tailgate”, an
upbeat crowd pleaser and “Sizzle”, a rootsy rockin’ sing-along tune. This crossover dynamic sound is a must see
for both country and non-country fans alike.
Mr. Boone proves once again that country music is still livin’ large in
the big city!
